i'm just curious if it could be any colder in here?? could take any longer??? or the attitude of the server Carolina be any worse???? and as i sit here writing this. my food shows up. cold....
The original La Padilla was fabulous. We went after renovations and it wasn't that great. We went with my family tonight, a Saturday night. Our wait wasn't bad(we got there around 5pm), but the waitress wasn't welcoming. The food took a verrryyy long time to arrive & when it did, it was cold. The service and cold food is the reason why I gave LaPa a 3 stars. I would usually give it 5, but after tonight, I was pretty disappointed.
After a five month remodel to expand, diners will be delighted with the results. Decorated with creative Iron work and South American sculpture the space is bigger and has a nice spacious feel. In the entrance is an Aztec Calendar crafted from Iron and the ceiling of Mexican tile illuminated with a hand blown glass chandelier. Check out the bar that is done in Mexican Tile and changes colors with unique lighting. A outdoor dining terrace is small but will be nice in warmer weather. The food is consistently great!
I love La Parrilla! I usually go to the one on Dallas Hwy but it has been closed forever for remodeling. The days that I have been able to I have came to this location and it is soooo good. I've never been disappointed with either location. Their food and customer service is always great! :)
