Good service, exellent food, nice and romantic place and very nice owners, the owner Sylvia came to our table to chek us, it was very kind from her, is the first time it happens to us!!! we will come back as much as we can. We bring our own bottle of wine!!! this is an incredible place to go!!! will be high recomended by us!!!!!!!! Congratulations for that good food!!!!!
Best food, best service – We use to come here years ago and now this is better than ever, the service, and the pizzas are the best! The last time, one week ago we ask for an opinion and they recommended pasta Fettuccine La Parmigiana and this is the best pasta I ever had!!! I was there for my anniversary and I for sure will back.... A happy customer?
Best italian food on town.. – Wao! is the best italian food I have ever had! we allways go on vacations to Italy and believe me this food? is incredible good!!!!! better that some places we use to visit in that country. The atmosphere is so romantic, the service great and the owner came to our table to see how was it going, is the first restaurant that the owner take care of us!! Congratulations. Northwest Houston neighborhood eatery for wood-fired pizzas and homestyle Italian fare. – Formerly located on 1960, this Cypress/Spring area eatery provides a romantic and relaxing atmosphere for date night or dining with the whole gang. Save money (and linger longer) with the restaurant's generous BYOB policy. Despite its strip mall location, the dining room manages a bistro-style setting with a conversation-friendly atmosphere not found in other family friendly neighborhood spots. Menu standouts include anything pulled fro... read more
Not so much....... – Once a month I meet with a group of girlfriends to enjoy a "kid-free" night out. We had all sat down to eat and everyone agreed they were glad we had chosen this restuarant because we can bring in our own wine. About 10 minutes after that someone noticed some small creatures crawling on the wall behind us. One, then another and then another. We were low key, told the waitress, she explained they had just sprayed. We moved to another table and from there we had terrible service. No one came back to refill... read more
Great Place for a large group – I have been here several times, have enjoyed every time, and found it very hospitable and personable. So I suggested this restaurant for a party of 12 women in the neighborhood. The food was great, the service was even greater, and we had a wonderful time. It was a weeknight, so I did not expect it to be very crowded, but indeed, the tables were full. So whoever wrote the past reviews on it being a terrible place, all I can say is they must have been having a bad hair day. Yes, you do have to ... read more
Terrible – I have eaten at this restaurant since we moved to Houston almost 4 years ago and will never go back. The restaurant recently changed owners (the new lady is a complete witch), and the food, service, ambiance, and overall presentation has gone downhill. You are better off eating at Olive Garden.
Yummy – We have been going to La Barmigiana/La Parmigiana for many years. I would have rated it with 5 stars but several dishes are no longer on the menu that I miss alot and there was a time we quit going due to poor service but I think the service has improved and the food is great. AND you can bring your own bottle. Seriously the food is really good. We brought some friends a month ago and they loved it too! The pesto is so good, the calzones, the pizza, yummy!
Excellent Calimari! – The service can be a little slow here, but the calimari is TO DIE FOR! My husband & I typically order the fried calimari & the creamy, DELICIOUS Veal Carbonara with bacon with the not-to-be-missed house salad & we go home with PLENTY of food for lunch the next day. The bread is delicious! We have taken our children before & they LOVE it, but I would not recommend it as a restaurant for children. It is more romantic, fairly quiet restaurant. Since it is so close to a school, they are not allowed to have ... read more
