On December 23, 2019 I visited La Paloma Urgent Care and was seen by Rachel Gates, DO. After a 10 minute exam/interview, she diagnosed me with a sinus infection and I was given a prescription. So imagine my dismay when I received 2 separate bills, one from NW Allied Physicians and another from NW Medical Center, for this visit totaling $955. I walked into this urgent care with an ingrown toenail. I walked out with no treatment and a referral to a podiatrist. I was then billed (after insurance) $187 (on top of the $50 I paid at the time). I was then billed for $199 by the doctor that saw me at the urgent care. The people were friendly but I am paying close to $500 and I still have an ingrown toenail that was never touched. This is rather absurd healthcare.
Fast, efficient, friendly and capable. We were seen quickly. My son is on the mend.
Short wait time, very nice and professional staff, and a clean facility. I also appreciated the follow-up phone call to see how I was doing a few days after my visit.
Check before you get treatment - they escalated a strep throat to a high level, costing me $$S
My girlfriend had infected an finger due to a splinter. Doctor spent less than 10 minutes with her. They billed $458! SMH!
