We have most horrible management team in the downtown of ******** **- 12 Central Square apartments complex. ************ tried to called corporates office about issues I had and never had back any respond. Our apartments complex in very poor conditions, halls very dirty. We are residents for 5 year and had our parking space for as long as we been residents, but recently our parking space was took from us without any notification. What a HORRIBLE management company!!! Since Avenue5 took over our apartment complex, this place turned very quickly into a mess and is absolutely horrendously unmanaged. The dog waste stations are MAJORLY overflowing all the time (with no bags available) the staircases smell of urine and are never cleaned or even swept, the lawns are full of dog waste... This is not about the business of Avenue5, but the employees of ************* Apartments. I have lived in these apartments for about 3 years. I have no issues with the apartments until they brought the property and the new management in. The property management and the one RECEPTIONIST, (I capitalize the word receptionist because the employee **** is NOT THE PROPERTY MANAGER.) I have been waiting for my deposit back for almost 2 months. I moved out and received a move-out cost list stating my check was being mailed to me. This isn't true or I would have it already. I have called so many times and left messages with no returned phone calls and the main lady ******* or ****** Im not sure what she says her name is but you cant even leave a message on her answer machine because its full. So that tells me she doesnt even check her messages. So my next step is legal action.

Several months ago we ended our second 18 month lease. This building is not a place you want to live. Since being **** management has fluctuated and has gone from absolutely unmanaged (----/piss in the hall from dogs, trash not picked up, broken grills/TVs/Games) to much better but many things are still broken and residents still let their pets relieve themselves in the halls but maintenance, myself or other residents are quicker to clean it up. From 2018 to 2021, I rented a unit managed by Avenue5 (******************** in ********, **). In March 2021, I gave 30 days' written notice as required, completed all move-out duties, and received sign-off on the unit's condition from building management. Worst management I have ever seen. Since they took over the apartment complex (**** ****************************************************), it has been nothing but awful.They don't answer phones or emails, everyday they are doing some sort of repairs and water has been shut-off 4 times in the past 3 weeks, parking lot repairs where you can't park/you have to move your car somewhere else. Not sure if this qualifies for a lawsuit or what this review will do

This company preys on the less financially fortunate and preys on the idea that these people dont have the means to take legal action. Ive spent the last year tied up financially in a divorce. While in between houses, I rented through these people in hopes of having a cheap place to live while working out my finances. I would rather have been homeless, which coincidentally a lot of other people have decided that as well due to the obscene amount of homeless people sleeping on the property. I've been in my apartment for over 7 years. Ave 5 took over about 3 years in. They took away our 4 day grace ****** and gave is 24 hrs to pay rent. They also increased our late fee to $200. And then convinced us to sign our 4th year lease 2 weeks early to save ti.e, only to charge us a pro rate rent for the last 2 weeks of our previous lease claime the new lease takes effect as soon as its signed and overrides the old lease.
