I love La Muse! Since moving to town I have been in dire need of a fabulous waxer. After three failed attempts at the same place, I decided to skip waxing until I heard of a better place. Several months later my eyebrows had actually gotten to the point of scaring people! I had to take action, mom is heading in to town tonight and takes her eyebrows very seriously. Portland Monthly Magazine recently deemed La Muse as the best waxer in the city so, off I went to give it a try!
Flawless eyebrow wax. When I want a flawless eyebrow wax, Muriel is the only one for me. I've been seeing Muriel for over six years now. I thought I had Portland's best kept secret until she grew so popular that the Portland Monthly dubbed her the best waxer in town.
Muriel is a goddess! You think my eyebrows look this good naturally?? ahh no. they are more like wild caterpillars. Muriel is a goddess and perfectionist who makes you feel just as equally fantastical in your womanliness.

Stellar customer service!! I've been to La Muse twice now and I am ready to give some feedback. Muriel is AMAZING. I had never waxed before I went to see her (on a friends recommendation) and I was so nervous when I got there, I thought I was going to be sick. She immediately put me at ease with her cheerful, bubbly attitude. I liked that she didn't make a big deal out of the fact that I was a first timer.
