The cakes I’ve gotten here have been a hit. They have classics and interesting ones like guava. The sweet pastries are solid (cookies and such). Service is always friendly. I don’t care for the savories and breakfast items. Drinks are not bad. There is street parking. Area is a BIT sketchy some times, but, hey, it’s a busy street and it’s L.A. we’re used to it.
Excellent place to come pick up some traditional Mexican sweet bread and coffee as well as pastries and breakfast items. The outside is ragged just like everything else in that area, but on the inside it's very very beautiful and comforting and warm. I wanted to hang out and have breakfast there but we were in a hurry but please do yourself a favor and check this place out very cool.
Recientemente tuve el placer de comer en Monarca el martes, y debo decir que el servicio fue excepcional. Nuestro servidor, Yoseline, hizo todo lo posible para garantizar que mi experiencia fuera memorable. Ella fue atenta, amable y conocedora del menú, proporcionando excelentes recomendaciones que realmente mejoraron mi comida. El ambiente era cálido y acogedor, lo que lo hacía el lugar perfecto para una ocasión especial. Recomiendo encarecidamente la Monarca, ¡especialmente si tienes la suerte de ser atendido por Yoseline!
El servicio al cliente excelente, el pan, el café, las galletitas, los pasteles, la mermelada, la miel y otros productos, de muy buena calidad y sabor y precios muy accesibles…Totalmente recomendable!! ☺️😉
