History Established in 2002. Our business is a small family ran and operated Mexican restaurant. We are originally from South Texas from a little town similar to Hattiesburg called Alto Bonito. We started our business in Glendale and have since relocated to Highway 49. We serve a great variety of authentic Mexican food with recipes that have been in our family for generations. We hope you enjoy our food and let us know how we can continue to improve our business.

I go here very often for the tacos. They are amazing and so is the staff. I’m now additcted to your chips and guacamole lol.
This is real food, and you can taste the difference in it and other restaurants. Everything is fresh and made with love. We need more dinning establishments like La Mexicana.

This is really the only place to eat tacos in Hattiesburg. I have been here several times and have never experienced anything mentioned in the negative reviews. My friends and I love it here.
Hands down the best Mexican food in Hattiesburg. Whenever I am asked about places to eat around here, this is always my first suggestion because it is my absolute favorite restaurant around.
