My two sisters and I had never been to Little Italy. We found La Mela and decided to have lunch there. Wow!!! What a treat. The device was great. The staff was wonderful and so kind. The food was superb from the fresh bread, incredible salad and the food was truly spectacular. I came for meatballs and can't wait to return. Although after tasting the chicken Parmesan I might have to order that next time. We will make La Mela part of our annual trip.
Service was good, the food was good. So I call it a good place.
I'm not really sure where to begin and unless I can write something positive, I usually don't write a review but the treatment by one employee was so disturbing, I felt it was necessary to write something. Originally from NJ, I've been to La Mela's many times and each time I return (having moved to Missouri) I make it a point to take a day to eat here.
