If your even thinking about putting someone you care about at la mariposa, please, please don’t do it. Take your time and find someplace else, among other things they steal anything of value from their clients.

I was considering this facility for my Mom. I likely dodged a bullet because the Admissions contact was very unorganized and unprofessional. I attempted to work with her for two weeks and she was did not communicate next steps well and lacked follow through. At one point she phoned me to discuss another client as demonstration of her lack of disorganization. I would be careful about placing your loved ones here. It could be an indication of the disorganization within the facility and indication of quality of care. I asked to... read more

Not happy about my 94 year old mother being there at all but it’s up to my sister... so far my mother’s been chocked, and at least once that I know of, her gift of candy and birthday flowers were withheld from her until the next day after delivery, until I found out. No telling what they did. I had to call social services to check on her after mom complained about her treatment... bottom line! I wouldn’t recommend this place.
