So disappointed. I booked an event for September 5th and due to Covid-19 event wont happen. Venue refuses to return the deposit even though gatherings are prohibited by law and is not under our control. I would sue and review accordingly in all and each one of the social media platforms to make people aware. I understand that deposits are non refundable in case of cancellations but we have not control over a pandemic! We should not have to be 1000 dls out in such difficult times. Very insensitive.
