My experience with Dr Norem was he was my mom's surgeon. He removed 90 percent of her colon without using a bag and she lived 20 yrs and died of a heart attack. Great surgeon.. talks in details .. lets you ask questions.
At 67 years old, I had given up hope of ever getting my colon rejoined and the bag removed that had been installed over 6 years ago. But Dr. Norem didn't hesitate to try. And he succeeded! He confessed it was a very difficult procedure where he almost stopped, but tried again and managed it. Very good surgeon. Diagnosis’s my condition, preform the surgery and explained the findings. Explained everything to me before he made a cut. Waiting room was small. The reception he has should not be the first person you see. She does not have an inviting personality. Once you get past her everyone else is very pleasant. She will make people has a second opinion about seeing Dr Norem.
Dr. Norem was very competent and will sit down and explain results to you.
