I had my colonoscopy and upper endoscopy here yesterday, and I was genuinely impressed with the care I received. From check in through discharge, everyone was kind, professional, and worked extremely well as a team. I only waited a few moments to be taken back, and although there was about a 20 ish minute wait before my procedure, the staff kept things moving and everyone I interacted with had excellent bedside manner. Communication about cancellation and medical bill can be a great headache for you if you come here. Cancelled my appointment 72 hours ahead of time on the day I get the cost estimate (like suggested in document) but still get charged for 200 dollars late cancelation fee. Called 4 times about it but never got my phone picked up. Always left messages explaining the details but never got a call back for confirmation. I had my colonoscopy with Dr. Andrew Mayer... my experience with La Jolla Gastroenterology was a pleasant one, for a seemingly not so pleasant procedure. From my video chat with Dr. Mayer to my scheduling with Syndie to the Nurses at the facility, everything was smooth and comfortable. All of the staff was personable and attentive.
