I called a few places to compare prices of various companies. LA Home Appraisals rates were reasonable, and Jeff honored the $100 coupon that was listed on yelp. I needed a quick independent appraisal since I had a short contingency window in escrow and Jeff rose to the occasion. He answered my initial call on a Saturday and was able to conduct the appraisal the very next day - just enough time for me to review the appraisal before the contingency period expired. He was even available in the days after the report to answer any questions I had.
