I do not like writing a bad review but the food was cold, the chips was cold and hard, the tacos was small, I ordered the shrimp cocktail which consisted of 8 large shrimp covered in cocktail sauce with a sprinkle of cilantro. It had no avocado or onion in it. It came with no crackers either. After our tea and coffees arrived no one at our table was offered a refill. The food was extremely pricey for the size. What a fantastic place to chill and eat, great staff, friendly and knowledgeable, food is awesome, and just walk it off next to the riverwalk!
Every time I give this place a chance because a friend wants to go there. I am surprised by how continually horrible the service is.
Have been coming here since day 1 and have always been very happy with the food and drinks.

For years, I've wanted to try #LaGloria at #ThePearl. What a huge disappointment! Server was horrible. He made no attempt to show any type of happy disposition at all. Took our drink orders, we asked for Queso fundido, and he pretty much talked us out of it. Explaining that "It's really taking a long time. I don't know what's wrong with the oven but that table just got theirs and they waited a long time." OK, fine. I am disappointed with the food. I don't like the food at all. No one go to the place to eat.
The tamarind margarita was outstanding. The food was good. The salsas were disappointing. They're not spicy at all and when we asked for a spicy sauce, we got Tabasco. Mexican street food must have a kick to it or at least a good option to make it spicy and tasty.
