I do not like writing a bad review but the food was cold, the chips was cold and hard, the tacos was small, I ordered the shrimp cocktail which consisted of 8 large shrimp covered in cocktail sauce with a sprinkle of cilantro. It had no avocado or onion in it. It came with no crackers either. After our tea and coffees arrived no one at our table was offered a refill. The food was extremely pricey for the size. Our ticket was $60 for one tea, coffee, above mentioned shrimp cocktail, beef tacos, and a queso. Oh the chips and s... read more

Good Food and excellent service! We are definitely coming back!!
We love La Gloria. My only complaints are: supplying on 5 tortillas for a big bowl of Molcajetes is just not enough. And getting charged for extra tortillas to just finish the big yummy Molcajetes.
Watered down margaritas, salty food, greasy and thick tortilla chips. Overall for all the hype really disappointing.
Brought my out of town friends to La Gloria last night for dinner as I had never had a bad experience here before...what a mistake! Waited at the hostess stand for fifteen minutes before anyone even acknowledged us. Server was EXTREMELY slow, even bussing other tables before she came over to take our order. She also walked over to “check in” twice, but each time she would leave while one of us was mid-sentence trying to ask for something. She came off very lazy. The drinks were OK but the food was awful. Totopos tasted very ... read more

I do not drink from plastic cups and requested a prickly pear frozen margarita to be in a glass cup. I couldn’t believe that they could not make it happen. They said only the top shelve margaritas came in a glass cup and regular prickly pears didn’t!!! Why not????? I don’t do this just because I want to, I do this because I choose to not be part of the ‘plastic’ community.
Great place to eat and drink
This is our new go to place in San Antonio. We were down at Pearl trying to figure out where we wanted to eat and found La Gloria. They had a lunch rush on a Sunday so we had to wait 30 minutes, not a big deal. I got the tacos al pastor and my wife got some chicken tacos (can’t remember the name), while our son got the burger. We exchanged glances with our first bites because we were in heaven! I would say he missed out but that burger was so delicious too! Definitely give them a try and you’ll love them too!
Terrible. We will never go back.
