I ate there when they first opened when I worked for the ring factory on Circle S Drive. There was never a wait and the food was fair priced and always hot! Miss places like this!
Have been going to La Fuentes for many years & always love their food. Sad to learn they will be closing soon ; ( Wish all the staff the best in the future ~~~~
Sad to know they are closing down at the end of the year. We have been eating here for 18 years. We will miss the great food and especially the staff who have been here all along. They are very friendly and loyal.
The food is well done basic Tex-mex with my favorite combo plate. Very sad they are closing

The Tex Mex that rivals Mi Tierra in San Antonio combined with ambiance, no crowds and reasonable cost make La Fuente's my new favorite place in Austin. Serving authentic, home-cooked Mexicans platters since 1971, it is a shame it will close in two weeks.
