The food wasn't what it used to be. And the margaritas were watered down. The ambience was ok for date night. Just too expensive to not have good food and drinks
There were 3 of us who go there quite frequently. We basically order the same thing and found that not only had the prices gone up but the food was bland. Font on the menu to small. Pay extra for everything. Shrinkenomics
First time here, and ordered tacos to go. When I opened up my container I noticed all of my tacos had mold on the shells. I understand mistakes happen, but how does one prepare the food and not notice something this obvious. Went back and talked to the manager who apologized and gave me a full refund. However, I will never go here again. If it wasn’t for the refund and apology, I would have gave 1 star.
La Fuente is a hard place to review because I really like it. I like going there, sitting at the bar, drinking a Modelo, and having some good Mexican food. It’s comfortable, familiar, and the kind of place that’s easy to keep coming back to. That said, I don’t think it’s a five-star restaurant. Nothing about it really pushes it into that category for me.
