I’d like to start with saying this isn’t about all mental health workers at this facility however when classified as SMI the level of services your suppose to receive definitely isn’t met I understand am what they call hi functioning never have I had an actual case manger do any paper work, calls or follow up to anything. I had figth for over a year to get therapy after being told it was added to my treatment plan after a in person appointment in which the case manager didn’t actually update my plan. UNBELIEVABLY mismanaged place. The litany of 1 star reviews are for a reason
Very great service!
My case manager Jamie never helped me with anything and the doctor James Flint was very rude to me and refused to give me Ativan so what the whole point of me going there. They are no help! In fact, they made my mental health worse by yelling at me on the video chats I had with James flint who is very disrespectful. I tried to file a complaint but it seems there’s no help. I will report him somehow after the way I was treated.
During my time at LaFrontera I have made quite a lot of progress. While the whole team has played a part in my healing, I would like to take a moment and recognize the efforts put forth by Annette Bouw. She has been my therapist and leads two groups which have been very beneficial to me, Creative Expressions and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).
