We've been going to LaForet since 1982. Since then it has been our favorite restaurant. The food is excellent, the service outstanding. John always stopping by, chatting and making you fee like family. We will miss LaForet and the staff, John and his lovely family. The first time I ate here, I was 17, celebrating my high school graduation, and loved it. Even as I've been to restaurants around the world, La Foret has held a special place in my heart. I love its history, the creek, that we used to ride past it on our bikes when we were kids, the years when it was my family's go-to place for celebrations, the tournedos of beef in cabernet cognac sauce, the chicken breast, the chocolate truffle tort, the staff that has remained top-notch over the years.
