RecommendedFirst date with my husband. 1998 NY. Food is fabulous atmosphere is so romantic. The service was impeccable.
Everything was excellent! From the sour dough bread, fresh vegetables grown in their garden, down to the coffee! The La Foret salad delish, the chef was happy to customize my request for Salmon with a Rasberry vinagarette sauce (the chef even sent out a small sample first for my approval) and the best Grand Marnier Soufle!! Service was superb! Excellent Ambiance nestled back in Almaden amongst the trees!
Always a treat to brunch or dinner creekside at La Foret. The food is always delicious, the service is excellent and the atmosphere is not stiff or too formal.

Can’t say enough about our dining experience here! From the minute we walked in, Joseph was at the bar ready to serve. Such a cozy, romantic feel. The food was beyond delicious! I had the prawns which were cooked to perfection, the rest of our table had rib eye, lamb and salmon, all melt in your mouth! The foie gras was amazing as well as the scallop appetizer. Service was impeccable and we can’t wait to go back!
