Excellent NY Style Pizza Of the restaurants in the area, La Foresta is one of two that I consider to have great pizza. Made by an expatriate New Yorker, La Foresta's pizzas are the best quality and made the right way, with a thin, flexible crust and the right kind of ingredients. Family owned Italian restaurant, nice place La Foresta is a family-owned Italian restaurant in downtown Wake Forest. They serve pizza, pasta, salads, Italian cuisine, and sandwiches. Good food, friendly waitstaff, very cozy restaurant. Good for families. Children can watch the pizza being made. Recommended.
Good Garlic Bread They have the best garlic bread I've ever had in my life. They have pretty good lasagna. The pizza, not so much. I'm would recommend this restaurant to a person that is not as particular about their pizza as I am.
Nice Italian Place The food was delicious. Love the garlic bread. The decor was nice but a little casual for the prices. Staff was very friendly.

The food is delicious! I absolutely love this restaurant but you have to be patient as the staff is not the friendliest. Trust me, it’s worth the trade off, great food for less than good staff.
