Wonderful food and service! This is in our neighborhood and we came for the first time on Valentines Day. The owner came and chatted with us, he was delightful.
Convenience in Food While I like the atmosphere and location of this restaurant, I have to say that the food is often hit or miss. I've been in and been thrilled with my food, and other times the food is just passable. It remains a "go to" place for me, mostly because of convenience. Their margaritas are good.
Good margaritas We are new to the Pac Northwest, and this is our favorite Mexican food place so far. The margaritas are excellent, and the food has always been good. The only complaint is that the entrees are pretty pricey, but you do get a good amount of food.
I took my wife on a date here. It is cozy and easy to enjoy conversation. The food was great. The staff was fun. We will go again.
This place has the best chips and salsa ever and their food is great. I highly recommend this to anyone wanting almost authentic Mexican food in Washington state.
Good food, poor service I've been going to La Fondita for the last four years and usually have a good experience. The food is always excellent, there is a good variety of choices and it always tastes good. However, the service at La Fondita has started to slip the last few times I've gone. The last time I went the waitress put in the orders wrong, failed to refill drinks, and took almost twenty minutes to bring the bill after it was requested. Okay The food is good, the service is usually good but the last time we went the service was very disappointing. Pretty slow but the food is good and it's a good atmosphere.
