Ay Ay Ay! – I Love La Fonda!
Good Food Great Service – I decided to try this place out one day with my girlfriend Rawan. I live in the Dominion so I really dont care to drive downtown for lunch but she twisted my arm. Well, I must say that to my surprise everything was absolutely delicious. The customer service was amazing! There is truly nothing that is more important than customer service to me. The outdoor patio was so beautiful. I'm not on that side of town often but I will be back. You guys keep up the great work!

Traditional favorite, average cuisine – I've patronized this SA landmark since the 70's. Located in a quaint stucco building in a quiet neighborhood that is easily accessible from downtown area, this restaurant is a favorite for locals and a real treat for tourists. girlfriend tradition – Each year my BFFs come here, drink spectacular margaritas on the patio, order the specials and celebrate our lives and loves in San Antonio. Wouldn't go anywhere else!
Great place – I'm not the biggest fan of mexican food, but I really liked this place. My favorite dish is the rainbow trout, thought I don't think you can go wrong with any of their other dishes. It has a great atmosphere, and the waiters are very professional. I love sitting outside in the back. THere's a beautiful little fountain. My coworkers and I would go there all the time for birthdays and other celebrations
Good food, good atmosphere – Great Mexican food and a great atmosphere, especially if it is a nice day and you can sit outside. Of course, the margaritas are excellent as well!
Wonderful Food and Service! – My wife and I ate lunch at La Fonda this weekend and it was an excellent experience. Our server, Maria, was very attentive and checked on us repeatedly. The food is not your standard Mexican food but is creative and delicious. We have eaten here one time before and enjoyed it very much then. I highly recommend it.
Good Experience – The food was good, yet the outside patio made the experience completely worth it. While being relaxed and casual, La Fonda still has a touch of class enough to suit the needs of any well dined individual. The location is convenient and parking was simple. I will definitely be back.
