Firstly, they are scammers. They lie about the contract I asked several times about my contract but no one helped with that. The only thing I was to see my contract and see my legal rights but no one helped with that. Personal trainer told me that I can cancel anytime I want but that was a lie. Its 12 months contract that you have to pay and if you wanna cancel you have to pay %50 which is another crazy thing. If you're a female wanting to join LA Fitness enchanted parkway and absolutely love working out and working out with your girlfriends this is NOT the place to go. The management staff will stereotype, discriminate and call out wild accusations in front of guests claiming that you're training your girlfriends even though you have been going there for over 4 years. I am upset and ready to sue ********************** for discrimination. Today i entered the gym and scanned barcode which is valid. Before i could do my workout the two front desk agents told me i needed to take a picture or show id...i refused because it is not in my contract to show id. So i asked for them to show me where in writing that i needed a picture to enter the gym and they could not provide the information or documents stating that. Can't cancel membership, there is not help at all , they want you to fill up a form that is not on there website or came in when the manager is there .
Definitely not a Signature gym. The hot tub has been out of service since COVID. When asked about it the staff gives a rehearsed response We are waiting for the state to clear us, We are waiting for the city to clear us We are waiting for the repair guy. Expensive membership dues but cheap uncaring service. Once you sign up for a membership youre just another member no one cares about customer service after they get you to sign on the dotted line.
Employees threaten violence when you try to cancel your account. Absolutely hilarious when a fake gangster threatens you over the phone because you do not want to work out in their gym. Told me he would not take my name off their call list. This is the kind of thing that is unacceptable in 2023. Terrible gym, terrible customer service, go to Platnium Gym in ******* instead. I want this guy answering the phone fired, and I have officially begun a campaign.
Since I started working out as a kid I used chock powder to workout its a thing of safety and the manger at the ******************************************************* Asked me not to use chock threatening me if I use it he will revoke my membership and I seen him harassing members while they still working out to put the weight Exactly at the right number. I am a retired senior who was coerced into signing up for a year contract for personal training at the ******, ******** location. I signed documents I wasnt aware of what was on them because it was all on the computer and done so fast but they told my daughter and I that I could cancel at any time without penalty if I have a doctors note. The gym fraudulently charged my card for my 16 year old daughter to have personal trainingwhich she never received. I did not consent for my card to be charged for my minor child to have personal training, and my daughter was never aware she ever signed up for it, and did not attend even one single session.
