I joined LA Fitness on June 28, 2023 and on July 3, 2023. I signed up for personal training. From the very beginning I had difficulty scheduling training and having the trainer show up for the training sessions. For two months no trainer was available to schedule or the trainer didnt so up for the training or I would be told that the trainer I was supposed to work with was fired. I pay a lot of money to use your gym, both in annual and monthly fees. Over the course of this past year, there are frequently machines that aren't available because they are broken. The number of concurrent out of service machines has steadily been increasing. As of this writing, 2 out of 3 hamstring machines are broken. Multiple cable machines are broken. Highly DO NOT recommend City sports Clubs ********* **. Members of staff **************, *******, along with another guy gang up on my brother 9 .15.23. Accusing and discriminating against him. A complete deceptive membership scam . I was told I would have guest privileges on my membership , my daughter and I are members of xsport and work out together , so when I joined at this gym the manager told me I could bring a guest anytime at any gym. I said sign me up . I went to the desk today to find out the age restrictions since my daughter is 17 and the desk couldnt pull up my information with my number . Formal Complaint - LA Fitness used to have fox on the ** but now it's only liberal channels. When I asked the manager to put fox on he went back to the area to change the channel but never did and when I asked him he said he did. I called corporate and they said the channels are corporate procedure and have been the same for a long time -which was a lie. LA Fitness store in ***************************** for arbitrarily canceling my membership. My member name *******************. My membership was unjustly terminated. I suspect it was due to a staff member's malicious reporting and unfounded complaints against me. I personally have not received any complaint notifications or related information. Absolutely Atrocious Contract Policies. Be aware! I had signed up for a personal trainer to help get much needed exercise for my disability. Esporta knew this. My trainer left Esporta out of the blue, and I didn't hear back so I had stopped going. For three months they charged me for ***************** services I never used. Over $2000. Complete Scam!!! Was told ** be reimbursed for personal training sessions incurred on my credit card. Signed up for 6 months and was told charges would stop and was NEVER told contract would go month to month. Down $900. La fitness has huge training issues and scamming clients out of money.
