This is the fourth compliant I make concerning the same matter and person. I have called LA Fitness Corporate to report the non compliance of mask use of some of the employees, especially to one in particular that never used the mask while attending prospect clients or talking to his coworkers. They took an annual fee from my casa count after it’s been on hold for over a year. I was told on the phone I can have my membership canceled over the phone with a manager to call back the next day. No call. When I called back now I have to go in to cancel... no manager on staff but I was never told there wouldn’t be one on a weekend. So here I am still a week later unable to cancel my membership.
Me and my workout friends have been going to Norwood Chicago location, since it was Bally’s we reported mechanical problems on the cardio machines several times to Josh R the Gm and George the AMG. My friend took a bad fall and instead of calling the ambulance, the staff helped him up and out the club, when he shouldn’t have been moved and ended up dying that night. Their answer was to smirk and said you work out at your own risk. Everyone there knows the ambulance should have been called. You killed our friend.
LA Fitness has been closed in my state until two weeks ago when very limited openings were permitted, and the company wasted no time in charging members (who cannot reasonably access the service - my gym is not open) the annual fee. Our household is unemployed and my LA Fitness account was frozen so we wouldn’t have to spend our unemployment on monthly dues. Very poor customer service!!! LA fitness Greenbelt, MD. The club has apparently been sanctioned for people not wearing masks; they have in turn gone completely overboard!!! My mask fell below my nose while I was running. They didn't warn me or anything but an Amanda B******* immediately asked that I leave with the police! She is why I have a customer service complaint. I have been going to LA fitness for years without any issue! And I have no problem wearing a mask! It fell while I was running!

He has Autism, is 20 years old and stopped at this gym branch at 550 Clock Tower Way, Crescent Springs, KY 41017 ( simply to inquire about a place to work out. Zero Stars!! These people are dishonest, deceitful, and use deliberate lies in their sales. I am helping my son now navigate their deceitful. LA Fitness is trying to enforce mask wearing during physical exertion/mid-exercise. When in common areas and as we enter and leave the gym I wear my mask. These employees don’t understand the laws in KY. I pulled them up online and showed the exemptions for wearing a mask which include during physical exercise straight from KY Gov. himself. They ignored the info I presented and never showed me anything in writing regarding LA Fitness policy to prove the latter. Started my membership and personal training sessions right before the pandemic caused closures. Memebership was on a freeze for three-four months. Being high risk I decided I would not be returning to the gym and would like a refund for sessions that were yet to be used and to cancel my membership since money is tight now as well.
