LA Fitness in *********, ** Puts their profits over people.I went in observe business and see their Pool. The first price was $29.99 and $40.00 initiation Went back week later had more?Now $30.99 plus initiation I joined and they charged me $35.99 Plus a $49.00 cancellation fee I dont appreciate their service and they are hard selling private training during an hour assessment and I asked about $ several times and didnt get answer until end of the speal
Granted, because of health issues, I haven't been in, but since Esporto has taken over, there seems to be only one guy who runs around trying to do everything. Several times when I walked in there wasn't anyone up front to greet me or answer any questions. I never see anyone cleaning the equipment. There aren't any trainers to answer questions either.
DONT JOIN!!! Especially fellow swimmers, I can't believe these clowns, they have from 11PM closing and earlier sometimes until 5AM and later sometimes to have the pool inspected at cleaned by a professional and they refuse to the right thing for their customers. I had just entered the pool when 2 swimmers and myself were ejected from the pool because the manager said chlorine level was too low. Idiots, why don't they check this stuff before they open? I guess I'm not surprised with my experience anymore seeing the rating for this location. It's quite disappointing and disturbing. I have been a member for a couple of months now and never had any issues until yesterday. The majority of the staff is courtesies and greet you as you arrive and send well wishes to you when you leave. Yesterday, however, that was NOT the case. The company framework and clubs are top class. However, the operations are below third world standards. Quality Instructors in ******* and ********* are shocking. Many of staff and group fitness instructors are racist, ie sexually and bully gangs (information was confirmed by one of the Zumba instructors in West Metro). The Group Fitness Instructors Coordinator in the area is totally disrespect any feedback. if you decide to go with this gym, please think twice. I signed up with LA Fitness on August 30, 2021. On October 16th I went on a week cruise, and then when I got back I received a call that the gym was closing down. I paid a fee of $230 for the year to get my monthly fee lower, I made 2 payments of $23 a month for LA fitness, then they charged me a yearly fee of about $40 on top of that (which was refunded when I disputed it). Request to cancel membership ignored.I have been a grandfathered member since LA bought Bally. I moved a couple times and switched gyms at same rate. After recent mice, they refused to allow me to switch with same rate. I cannot cancel my membership in the app, was told via email I must go to the gym (no longer close to me) betw 8-5 to cancel I person. LA FIT on the corporate level operated disastrously in the ************** after the mask mandate lifted, endangering client health in favor of an opportunity to recuperate revenues (presumably). This particular location is in a democrat-voting and Covid-conscience immigrant heavy community. The **** program was not well attended, initially, because of the pandemic.
