La Fiesta Grande opened here on Colorado Boulevard thirty years ago. I was reminded of that recently when talking to a couple having dinner with their two young children. They lived nearby in Madison Heights. The Mother told me that she had come to La Fiesta Grande with her parents. Later I reflected on that conversation. How wonderful to have been able to touch three generations of one family. I was also powerfully reminded how important the patronage of our neighborhood is.
