RecommendedLa Farm is a treasured, locally owned bakery and cafe in Cary. The service is fantastic, the expanded indoor and outdoor seating is a major improvement, and it is a simply a phenomenal bakery that (lucky for us) just happens to be based right in the heart of Cary. There is also a satellite cafe in the Whole Foods on 55 in West Cary, and a bakery store front in downtown Cary. C'est magnifique!
The place expanded too quickly. It needs a better supervision from the owner. Bread quality went down significantly over the past 5-7 years and now the price is not justified. Lidl makes better sourdough and Wegmans bakes better challahs now. People who take orders over the phone charge you, but forget to place your order. Hire people who love an understand bread. Why would you place a freshly baked bread into a plastic bread? It's not Wonder bread, but after 30 minutes in a closed plastic bag it becomes one.

The mail order system is dysfunctional. Also got white chocolate raspberry loaf delivered with mold, had to toss upon arrival. Hopefully this will improve.
