Was all excited about eating at La Familia tonight but it turned out to be my worst experience there. Ground beef was totally saturated with grease and my tacos had zero cheese on them. In addition, they had lost their liquor license and couldn't order a margarita. Instead of enjoying myself all I got is a stomachache now.
The chips, salsa and cheese dip are pretty good but as far as authentic Mexican food goes it's not the best. However, if you like American "Mexican" food and feeling stuffed with cheese and beans this restaurant is for you. This restaurant used to be a great place before I tried the taco trucks in Los Angeles. Now my expectations are higher and La Familia is ok at best.
