I read all the reviews and no one mentioned El popeye! By far the best breakfast sandwich I've ever had. Eggs, bacon, spinach, cheese, on grilled bread. I've been going to La Especial my whole life. Even more now since its next to my work. I once asked my (dearly departed) friend Mike about the other restaurants in the area. He said he would only go to La Especial because when he was a hungry street kid in the 70's, the ladies there would always give him at least a bolillo. Sometimes that was the only thing he had to eat. <3
