I was looking for a great hair braiding salon and I found this one during my Google search. I was undecided about what style I wanted due to being in fear of how it would look on me and finding a good stylist since it's been years since I had braids. Roberta was so nice, and very patient with me trying to make a decision. She explained the pros and cons with the styles I was considering. If you are looking for a place to go in the south suburbs, look no further! This was my first time visiting this shop and I will definitely go back! Roberta is very professional and does a very good job of listening to what you want your hair to look like. My box braids only took 4 hours and we chatted like friends the whole time. The best part of it all is that she doesn't braid too tightly. I am on week 3 but they still great. I never write reviews, but I felt this one was necessary. Thanks Roberta!
I have NEVER had my hair braided at an african braid shop and not left feeling like I can't take it; the pain has always been a problem. This was THE BEST EXPERIENCE! My box braids are not tight and I don't fear losing my edges. Roberta was punctual and fast! Her shop is clean and she cares about good customer service. I'll be back!
