Great tasting food and portions. My blackened chicken nachos were amazing! My friend asked if they could have some of mine when I was eating them and I said no cause they are nachos!
I ordered a simple bean burrito with specific instructions to please fry the tortilla on the outside. I sent it about five times to make sure that they understood and they couldn’t even get that right. The taste of the meat was horrible. They put less beans which I specifically wanted. I would not recommend this place to anybody. The food is horrible.
Good food. Friendly staff. Just two of us there at first, as we went around 2:00 PM on a weekday. Since we were meeting up after not seeing each other for a long time, we wanted someplace where we would not feel rushed. This was the perfect spot. We moved to the outside tables after eating indoors for about an hour; took our drinks out there, and sat another 45 minutes. Not once did we feel like we needed to vacate. Absolutely delicious! Had to buy some extra salsa to take home.
As with many mom and pop Mexican places, not much to look at (it’s in an industrial complex), a lengthy menu, large portions, and a clientele that are coming in for lunch from a construction or landscaping job. Don’t let all this dissuade you however… ALL the food is delicious!! We come to PD several times a year and eat here numerous times during our vacation. Try the BIRRIA (soup or tacos) — it would be my execution last meal. Also, must try the house made spicy salsa - we put it on everything!!
