Great neighborhood spot on the east side. MASSIVE hit with our kids, and lots to love for non-kids :)
La Cina used to be good. Food is now very disappointing and overpriced. The wait staff is overwhelmed because it was busy (not their fault but very much understaffed). They didn't even have enough glasses for water, glasses for margaritas, and silverware... so if you want to go somewhere with a wait worse than Chick-Fil-A for water and silverware, with worse tasting food then this is your spot. Highly recommend going somewhere else.
They ran out of silverware then ran out of glasses. Atmosphere slow boring playing music that had nothing to do with the Mexican culture. Very quiet you could hear everyone’s conversation. Drinks are extremely measured out almost 9.00 for a lime margarita and was mostly ice. Menu reminded me of middle school extremely limited/ small. Also no happy hour or drink specials will not be going back.
Moved here from Texas and were craving some Mexican food. Friendly service and kid-friendly, ok margaritas but the food was not worth it and not what I would consider “Mexican” food by any stretch of the imagination. For reference, we got fajitas (cold tortillas, unseasoned meat, no guacamole or sour cream unless requested), enchilada (husband described it as “mid”), and the kids got burritos. Brownie sundae was little Debbie’s brownie bits with some ice cream on top.
