Nasty little dive! Ants crawling around! Rude employees. No manager to speak to about the nastiness of the place! Customers beware if you dare to brave eating here! Nauseating experience!
It is my absolute favorite restaurant. I have traveled all over the United States with my husband that drives a tractor trailer truck and we have ate at alot of different types restaurants and Cafe's, and La Chalupa Mexican Restaurant is my FAVORITE!!!!!! They have very prompt, fast, and friendly service. Not to mention romantic atpmosphere an can even order mixed drinks if you like. It's just the best ever. I live in Ruby, SC and we come all the way to Lancaster just to eat at La Chalupa.
I have ate there many times in the past.....I went for lunch Tuesday and both me and a friend got very sick.....the food tasted warmed over .....but made us both very sick
I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone. The inspectors need to actually come by and check the place out and someone needs to teach the cooks how to actually cook. It's an embarrassment to mexican culture on how sloppy everything is carried out.
Moving down south from California, it’s been hard to find good Mexican food. La Chalupa does a good job at a great price!
Been one of our favorite eateries for years. They have a buffet or you can order from the menu. Great food.
