Unique atmosphere and good ambience When I went to Costa Mesa for my official training, I went to La Cave for lunch. I found that the atmosphere of La Cave was unique. The ambience was so good and and the quality of the meal was superb. The music being played there was lovely, and the service was excellent. I got what I paid for.. I found La Cave to be among the nicer restaurants in Costa Mesa.
La Cave Restaurant is Worth It! Expensive, but worth it! Certainly a "Special Occasion" venue. This is a restaurant like no other - the food quality, service staff, and chef are all a "cut above"!!
Great Steaks and Lobster!!! I have only eaten here once, but would go back. It is crowded and a reservation is needed. I had steak and lobster. It was awesome. Pricey, but well worth it.
delicious! La Cave is sooooo good! Ive been there once and I had the steak and lobster. It tasted so fresh and delicious. It ended up being like $50 per plate, but it was so worth it. Its a lot of fun being there because you really are underground and the lights are dimmed to keep it dark. There was a dance floor and music. La Cave is the bomb! It has the best live Jazz and a dark-underground feel. When you walk in, you go down some stairs before entering the bar, so it really feels like you are entering a cave. Everyone is mellow and friendly so its a great place if you want to skip all the hype. I've also heard that the food is very good- but haven't tried it yet.
