never again Today, I went to get my once a month steak at your store in Houma... I was the 2nd party in the door and the 1st to order... I ordered a ribeye mr .. I sat and watched 3 tables full of people get their food before me.. I just tossed $25 on the table and walked out .. will never be back and have nothing good to say about your place..
WONDERFUL PLACE!!! Great place to eat!! Love the salsa and the soup. The shrimp burrito is to die for!! I highly recommend it to EVERYONE!! Nice atmosphere and good staff! Get in at 11am get out quick!!
authentic, nice atmosphere, prompt service. – I like la casa del sol because of the atmosphere. the decorations, and everything makes you feel like your in mexico. i also like that you get alot of food, not just one fajita or something. theres a good variety, and good deserts. i dont like the location. its kind of hard to find. sometimes you have to wait to be seated, and the salsa is not really good. but i think its great for couples,and groups.the kids menu isnt very vast though
Stay Away From This Place!!!!!!! This restaurant can not compete with anyone in this area. Their food is of low quality, their prices are ridiculous for the quality or quantity of food. Their service is a joke and the management is completely incompetent.
Anyone Would happen to have the recipe for their awesome salsa I highly doubt anyone will but if you do can you please share this recipe with me because i love their salsa best in town
Great place to dine Great place to have a meal and visit with friends in the area. Bar has great live music on weekends. Drinks are great .. highly reccommend the Strawberry margarita with ice cream .. think alcoholic smoothie. Wait staff courteous and patient. All around great dining place.
Not that great I have been to Mexico and tasted their dishes and La Casa del sol taste far from authentic with the prices for the food outrageous... I suppose this place gets alot of buisness because they have no competition in houma or at the other location in thibodaux. However the bar is great, I will give it that. But I would take the drive to morgan city for authentic mexican food.
