DO NOT EAT HERE – Absolutely horrible! The waitress was the rudest we've ever encountered. We did not receive what we ordered and we were told "too bad, we're out of scallops" when we questioned them further about compensating us for not getting what we ordered the waitress said "we're out, what do you want us to do...go to the acme" the owner then came out & told us to leave if we didn't like it. Oh, we also waited over an hour for the food.

People get a grip – For all the people who wrote bad reviews of this restaurants I have this to say, LIGHTEN UP!!!!! Where can you go and get dinner with a happy smiling face?.....just about anywhere. This is real life people and real life drama. Who hasn't had a bad day at work? Well this owner has one everyday, she can't help she chose to open a business that deals with the public. Don Rickles has made tons of money insulting people who pay him, this owner is trying this angle out and you get a nice bowl of pasta with your... read more

Awsome food !!! – The best italian food - everything is so fresh and the garlic bread is yummy. I personally like the gnocchi with "rose" sauce. The service can be a bit "dry" but never interferes with the dining experience. The place is decorated in a very unique fashion and looks very orginal. The entire family can be seen working in the restaurant including kids. Some folks may not like this (and have commented on this) but I think it brings out the warmth in this place.

Food is very good - but the hostile treatment is impossible to tolerate – Food Great- But..... Owner & family are hostile and make you nervous and not welcome. You get upset with all the yelling and pushing each other around. Not acceptable behavior in a private or public setting. Enough comments have been made along these lines. There is something terribly wrong with this behavior. You become anxious after finishing the great meal. Makes digestion difficult. Don't bother having to experience this horrible display of anger a... read more

What a hostile staff!! – I've never reviewed a restaurant before, but I REALLY need to. This restaurant doesn't seem to need to please the customer, in fact, they seem to want to do everything to get rid of you. It was very, very strange and upsetting. I was with a large party of people and when we weren't all there at the exact minute when the reservation was for, they were yelling and carrying on to everyone that had arrived on time. After ten minutes, they were livid and said that they would cancel our reservation. I have ... read more

Ok dining experience – I recently just went here for my mom's birthday. The food was exceptional, the bread was great, but the service was not so great. Our waitress was in a rush to take our orde, annoyed when we asked her what she recommended and what is most ordered. She said everything was pretty much popular and just wanted to jot our orders down. Besides that, we ordered steak, the proper utencils were not given, no A1 sauce was left, so BBQ sauce was brought out instead (However, ketchup did came out with the fries an... read more

Great family run restaurant – I have been going to La Campagnola for lunch for years. The food is absolutely great and the portions are huge. The specials are a great option and are not the typical Italian restaurant standards. The Chicken Frank Sinatra is (stuffed chicken breast with scallops, shrimps, artichokes & more) is one of my favorites. It's always nice to see the family there and helping out running the business. It always puts a smile on our face when the youngest boy (~3 yrs old) brings us our menus! The family a... read more

Great Food, Great Vaue – We have been going to La Campagnola at least twice a month for about eight years since the place opened. We have our favorites (penne with pink vodka, chicken marsala and the salmon) and try other menu options too and have never had a bad meal! Yes...it is family owned and operated and we find it quite endearing. We love to watch the kids grow up and help out at the restaurant. In fact every major family event from 60th birthdays to wedding rehearsal dinners we have there. For people who love to eat ... read more

Awesome Food, it is worth the drive – I discovered La Campagnola a few years ago and since I don't really live in the area I haven't been there for a while. I kept telling my husband how wonderful the food is and we went there for our anniversary last year. He was hooked! Since we live about 30 minutes away we really only get there on special occasions. You get a lot of food for a reasonable price and the rolls are awesome! They are my husband's favorite in fact last night he ate 10!!!! I would recommend this place to anyone... read more
