Warm, friendly, vibrantly decorated. Excellent food. Extensive menu.
Food was great and fast. I had nachos with hamburger & cheese sauce and my husband had a shrimp taco salad. His flour tortilla was cooked in the shape of a taco which was cool. Service was good and friendly. Bathroom was clean and newly remodeled. The decor was “day of the dead” with dark colors and scary faces. Just not my preference, but I did like the hanging lights. We love La Calaca! The guys that work here are absolutely wonderful. They make the restaurant lively and a lot of fun. We have always had great food and great service. The only thing is I wish they would play more authentic music. No country, no pop we wanna hear the fun Mexican/Hispanic music!
