It is an odd mesh to find this French cafe-like gem in the Western themed historic district of Old Colorado City. Exposed brick walls, tall windows that lend for perfect people watching, and the heady scents of baking bread and freshly ground coffee make this a very popular stop. Espresso, cappuccino and lattes are all offered and make for perfect companions to its food menu of croissants, fruit plates, cheeses, breads and its highly praised French Onion soup. Late Sunday brunch features an omelet of the day.

amazing French onion soup
Best French onion soup I have ever eaten!
The French Onion soup is always a hit, as is the fondue. I have been eating here since they opened and never had a bad meal. This past Sunday morning I ordered Eggs Benedict. Why I have I never ordered that before? It was awesome! We picked up bread as usual to make our lunches this week. Great job. Thanks for all these years of consistant service, great food and excellent artisan bread.
Always a delightful meal here, and the chicken salad on a baguette is so tasty! I’ve been known to take home a pound of it! My dining companions both had the French Onion Soup, plus chicken salad sandwiches! And, they took home some bakery items! Staff is always so cheerful and pleasant!
I come here 3 times a week and the staff is always extremely nice. I always look forward to coming in.
We had a tortellini, a few desserts, and escargot here. The desserts were incredibly delicious, spot on to the desserts we actually received in France, the tortellini was really really good, however the escargot here was a big let-down. In Paris France it is more garlicky, also they needed to rinse it out better because multiple pieces that I tried to eat were crunchy and still had sand in it. Short of the disappointing escargot it was a fantastic experience. Great location, great atmosphere, and good food.
French Onion Soup is stellar! Great on a cold day.
