Laurent is amazing, a professional and a true artist. He restored several pieces for me and I honestly was blown away by his work, as I did not think it could be done (some wood on one piece and a handle on the other were entirely missing) and then after he was done I could not tell what was the restoration, it was that good. A bit condescending. All good tho lol
I had several pieces that badly needed restoration: (1) an 18th Century bracket clock; (1) a Salem card table from the 1790s; (3) a Philadelphia Sheraton dropleaf table; and (4) a Georgian bowfront chest. Laurent did a remarkable job and they came out looking beautifully refreshed. He used materials (finishes mostly but also a little bit of new wood) that made the restoration nearly undetectable I was delighted.
