I wanted to treat myself for the first time ever to a manicure with Gel Nails. I heard they were healthier than other types of nails and that Gels could be soaked off easily. I have to trust the business and the people who work there, so I did. I asked for Gel nails which were the most expensive and later found I was given acrylic nails. The manicurist also used a rotary power tool that is meant for wood and metal on my finger nails. I purchased that same tool at home depot for jobs around the house.
