Excellent place for a family event. Go for the Hibachi grill! It's a fun experience the chefs are entertaining, the food is good and very reasonably priced.
This place has the BEST food. The deal you get of soup, salad, and rice with your katsu is really good. Our server Susan was serving the entire section at once absolutely on top of everything. She was literally making loops through the kitchen doors. Also, their cichlids are so well loved. The tank is always clean and they put a lot of work into their setup. My son wanted sushi for his birthday so we decided to come to Kyoto's. We normally go to the one in St. Peters Mo but decided to try the one in Edwardsville IL instead. We did the hibachi and our chef was nice and friendly. The food was great but my only complaint was it no longer comes with noodles. You have to order noodles as a side dish now which was very disappointing. I would rather have noodles instead of the rice. Otherwise we had a great time and the food was cooked to perfection.
