Broke my foot playing basketball and when I was referred to them they got me in within a day or two and basically broke it down to me that I would heal without surgery but if i did get surgery I would heal way faster and stronger. All my questions were answered throughly at follow ups and had a practically pain free recovery from surgery with minimal scarring.

Dr Templin attempted a bunion surgery on my left foot and never corrected the bone structure of the bunion bone- so now I still have the bunion. When I pointed this out to Dr. Templin he tried to tell me that’s the way my foot is shaped. Last year, I had my right foot done in Fargo at the Sanford Foot and Ankle clinic. That surgery was done correctly as the bunion was removed. The only issue was a non union of the bone. Now I might need to have another surgery to straighten out the structure of the bone and the bunion.

I went to Dr templin with a painful toe. My regular doctor had x rayed and the nurse asked me several questions and the doctor didn’t look at either of them. He got a scalpel and shaved a callus off and said his nurse would put a sleeve on to cushion it. That was it. After I got home I read his notes on my chart. I thought he must’ve gotten me mixed up with another patient. Nothing on my chart was told to me. Needless to say I’m seeing another podiatrist to find out what can be done for my pain. I have to have a new surgery as Dr Templin attempted a bunion surgery and put an implant in my toe to act as a new toe joint.. so painful and implant turned and was a complete failure.. bunion returned as my bone structure was never corrected..would not recommend this Dr!
