I've been a patient of Dr. Mazellan and Jason for going in 5 years. They e both been excellent with easing my spine pain. All their office staff are so very nice as well as getting appts for you as quick as possible.
This was the best first visit in a Doctor’s office I have ever experienced. After dealing with severe back pain caused by inflammation in the lining of my spinal cord for more than 4 months, and after 6 MRI’s a spinal tap, and countless blood tests, I came to Dr Mazellan. He had thoroughly reviewed all my tests that he had access too and was working on getting all the results. I was referred to Pain Management when I requested a prescription for NSAIDs that my insurance wouldn’t cover short-term due to mail delivery options. This unnecessary referral was refused since I do not want pain medications. I MOVED TO INDIANA FROM ARKANSAS WHICH THE DOCTOR IN ARKANSAS HAD MY BACK PAIN UNDER CONTROL. I WAS REFERRED TO MAZELLAN ONCE I GOT MY APPOINTMENT 4 MONTHS LATER. I TOOK MY HISTORY FROM ARKANSAS TO SHOW MAZELLAN WHICH HE CARED NOTHING ABOUT AND THE FIRST THING HE SAID WAS I NEED TO LOSE WEIGHT WHICH I HAD ON A 20 POUND WEIGHTED VEST AND WAS NOT GIVEN A EXAM WHICH HE WOULD HAVE NOTICED. With extensive back pain and SI Joint issues for more than three years, Dr. Mazellan and his team have been fabulous in helping me find answers to control the pain. While we haven't been able to pinpoint a cause, over the course of six months, we have narrowed down options and finally found the best answer for this point in time.
