I have had many doctors in my lifetime and Dr Rongstad was the absolute worst. Arrogant beyond believe and very dismissive of my concerns. Stay away, unless you don’t mind a god complex and subpar medical care!
Dr. Rongstad made me no promises. I was referred to him by another surgeon who had performed 2 previous surgeries on my foot. In ALL of my interactions with both he and his Amazing Nurse, I was treated with Sympathy, Compassion, and given Hope. Four Procedures in one Surgery and I am slowly realizing I am going to walk normally on that foot some day soon. Never lose hope. God will send you the Angel you need.
He was my second opinion, which lead to me getting a third. I’ve had ankle/foot pain for 3 months and have been in a boot. He told me foot injuries can take a year, looked over my ultrasound and said there was no tear- after previously been diagnosed with one, and said I need a physical therapy. He then gave me a foot brace. Which I waited 40 minutes for, because the nurse didn’t know I was there. Horrible provider. Didn't listen to me or care and abandoned me. I have two ligament tears, that I had to find out through the radiologist and were not discussed or imparted to me by him. He basically told me I may never walk again, offered nothing else. I am now unable to walk or bear any weight on my right ankle. I tried to call him and set up an appointment, and he refused to call me back or see me! DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME!! I am under 50 years old and a single mom...TERRIBLE treatment!
