Spent less than one minute with me and did not even look at my feet which is what I came into the office to see him for. He did not ask me anything about them and just wanted to send me someplace else for a test. When I asked him what the test was for he refused to tell me and stated that he did not want me to google it. This man is the worst!
I saw Dr. Massey for a swollen ankle. I went in and explained that I didn’t know how it happened. I mentioned a couple things that could’ve caused it. He told me with an injury I should know what caused it. I said it was subtle movements in combination most likely. I couldn’t pinpoint rolling the ankle, falling, tripping, etc. I’ve had instability in the ankle in the past. I explained all this - he was short with me and condescending. Dr. Massey is a life saver. He is awesome best experience with a Dr. He was personable,funny, and understanding. He didn't make me feel like a number. Every time I saw him he was always in a good mood. Made me feel extremely comfortable. I would recommend
Dr Massey is not completely informative. You trust him with your care to find out that he refuses to answer your post op questions. Instead he states I’m going to say this one time and one time only.If I knew he was this way I would have recorded every visit. Disrespectful, rude, and unprofessional. Generalizing things without addressing patient care one on one. Everything leading up to pre surgery went well as did the surgery. Postop visit was terrible. He didn’t take the time to listen to what you were experiencing. Kept repeating the same short answer to different questions. Refused to answer questions asked. Did no look at foot, incision or touch foot and implied that you were lying. He is rude, arrogant, disrespectful, and condescending. Will not go back to him seeking another Dr for postop follow up. Office manager was no better.
If I could give less than a one star review I would. Dr. Massey was extremely rude and dismissive and did not want to answer questions. It was clear that he did not like the fact that I came with my husband to ask questions. He also dismissed the fact that my husband had a reaction to the antibiotic that he was given, stating that it was not possible for the drug to cause those reactions, even though it did. I’ve seen Dr. Massey for several years and he recently performed surgery on me for plantar’s fasciitis. He is direct and honest, but I like that in a doctor. I ask a lot of questions and he patiently answers them. I’m never left waiting for long when I see him, something that is also important to me. In these times when doctors often don’t have much time to spend with any one patient, I appreciate that he is not only on time, but I don’t feel rushed. My first visit with Dr. Massey was fine he was very polite, professional and informative. The second visit had me in shock. He was very unprofessional, rude, and disrespectful. I will not return to that office due to his rudeness. He never answered my question or concern regarding my condition instead responding in a mean and disrespectful manner. It would benefit him if he took a break from both his practice and interacting with the public
