This restaurant missed the mark on the basics. I wouldn’t recommend it. This was the worst sushi experiences I’ve had. The sushi rice was completely off, the texture and consistency were poor. The fish preparation was very disappointing. Many pieces were cut incorrectly, even against the grain, making them unnecessarily chewy. I also found small bones in some of the fish, which is unacceptable for a sushi restaurant. This is the sushi place I come to most often. Probably every two weeks. Their fish quality is amazing. We recently tried the sashimi. The yellowtail was exceptional, which is not something I can save for a lot of restaurants. I prefer the rolls that don’t have any sauce or very little sauce. The chicken karage is very battered and fried so we always order it before we even sit down.

Some of the best sushi I’ve ever eaten. I had the Wagyu nigiri, Red snapper nigiri, Fried oysters, and the lobster roll. All delicious. Only bad thing was the lobster on top of my lobster roll was overcooked cooked and rubbery. The inside lobster was perfect and the crab meat inside was one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. Wish I lived in Seattle would love to go back.
