Dr. Sohal performed my colonoscopy. He and the entire team who assisted him at Medstar were fantastic - professional and caring. They explained everything clearly to me and I had no issues after the procedure.

Dr Sohal, and his entire team in Kensington, are fantastic. I had my first colonoscopy this week and chose to do it without being sedated so I was awake the entire time watching the monitor. I know this isn't for everyone but it allowed me to experience first hand the care and professionalism of Dr Sohal. I also need to recognize the amazing work of Nurse Anne and Tech David. Thank you to all the team at MedStar Health in Kensington.
Dr. Sohal's staff and assistant Emili were most friendly and helpful initially. I had waited a longtime to be able to see Dr. Sohal GI and came well prepared having done my medical research and insurance research. I am not sure he appreciated that. He did not examine me. He did listen to me to some point and eventually walked me out of the door saying "follow me" and I was handed an instruction sheet. He did lookd for samples but there were none. 10/10. This physician DR. SOHAL, could not be anymore pleasant, explained procedure, smiled, fit me in for procedure. Listened to me and about Hx and concerns. Being a nurse 40 years, even at MedStar Georgetown, EXCEPTIONAL!!! Thank you. Your entire staff from the front desk check in, to Tammy were all pleasant and helpful. Heck, I had a hard time even figuring out the elevator! Thank goodness for them, also..
