We thought it might be too busy on Father's Day and we did have to wait a while (30 min) to get seated. But it was worth the wait. Everything was yummy. Between the 4 of us, we had catfish, chicken fried chicken, and a grilled chicken sandwich. The fried okra is really good! Be sure to eat here when you're in the area.

Vernon's Kuntry catfish did an excellent job catering Lonestar cowboy church's Rodeo Bible Camp. They are always efficient and dependable and the food is excellent. Thank you so much for helping make Rodeo Bible Camp a success
I should have ordered the catfish. Chicken fried steak had 1/2 steak and 1/2 breading. Just too n much to eat that wasn't meat. I also had fried okra and it was 1/3 okra and 2/3 breading. I did however like the french fries and ice tea. When you go to a place with fish in the name, order fish only.
theve got sum good vittles and sum purdy girls, good fish
Always fast and friendly service. Food is always hot, fresh, and served with plenty of hush puppies. Highly recommended for your dining pleasure.

We have been coming here since the early 90's..their food has always been good...until today....very, very disappointed. ...my fried catfish was mushy and my husband had shrimp, scallops and oysters and they were overly fried. The only good food today we're the French fries, hush puppies and the green tomato relish...I am afraid we will not be back. I was out of town a while back and my husband brought my mother in law and they said it was not good then either...we gave it another chance...not sure what's going on..used to h... read more
